- 1.
- To finish four year secondary school.
- 2.
- The following are allowed for an admission in the first year of studies:
- a.)
- citizens of the Republic of Croatia, members of Croatian nation residing outside Republic of Croatia, and foreign citizens of Croatian origin (Croatian Diaspora).
- b.)
- foreign citizens, scholarship holders of Republic of Croatia, under the number determined by Decision of Ministry on Admissions for the admission of foreign citizens.

- Documents enclosed with application form are:
- a.)
- Birth certificate
- b.)
- Certificate of domicile for citizens of the Republic of Croatia; personal data from school certificate and other documents for the Croats from other countries and foreign citizens
- c.)
- School-leaving certificate
- d.)
- All four-year-courses certificates of secondary school
- e.)
- Nostrification of school certification by Ministry*
- f.)
- Certificate of Croatian language exam.
The candidates who finished secondery school abroad should enclose the decision of nostrification of forign certificates, issued by the Ministry of Education and sport*, for all the certificates obteined abroad as well as the certificate of having passed the exam of Croatian language.
- Applications for admission are fiellled out on a special form obtained at Matriculation Office of the Faculty and handed over directly or mailed to the address of the Faculty.

- The candidates who applay for the admission in the first year of studies enroll without taking the classification exam, on the basic of average mark of success in secondary school:
- excellent success is awarded by 200 points
- very good success is awarded by 180 points
- good success is awarded by 130 points
- sufficient success is awarded by 90 points
and on thje basic of average marks in Croatian language, mathematics, physics and chemistry:
- excelent marks awarded by 50 points
- very good marks awarded by 40 points
- good marks awarded by 30 points
- sufficient marks awarded by 20 points
The maximal amount of points, obtained on the basic of average success and isolatet marks from secondary school is 400.
The applicants with the same number of points will be subsequently classified regarding their marks in methematics, chemistry and physics.

- The candidates who have achieved the right to enroll at some admission period, but failed to do it in due time, lose the right to enroll.
- 6.
- When enrolling, admission fee, determined by Ministry of Science and Technology for citizens of the Republic of Croatia and foreigners separately, is payed.
Admission fee for forign citizens is approximately 19 000kn. The amount is payed by general money order through post-office or bank.
