Glossary
Zeolite | Zeeman effect | Zeotrope

Zeolite
zeolite is a natural or synthetic hydrated aluminosilicate with an open three-dimensional crystal structure which water molecules are held in cavities in the lattice. They are used to soften water.

Zeeman effect
Zeeman effect is the splitting of an energy level of an atom or molecule, and hence a splitting of spectral lines arising from that level, as a result of the application of an external magnetic field.

Zeotrope
Zeotrope is a liquid mixture that shows no maximum or minimum when vapor pressure is plotted against composition at constant temperature.
